My specialty is ...

MSC Seashore, Nassau Bahamas

We began our cruise in Port Canaveral, Fl. This was our first time sailing with MSC. The ship is beautiful! The crystal Swarovski staircases were simply stunning!

We started our boarding day in the buffet. The buffet food was good, and options plentiful. My favorite part of the buffet was the pizza! We had heard the MSC pizza was really good, and it was! That night we decided to go to the Mexican restaurant on board called Holas Cantina. The margaritas were wonderful, and the food was upscale Mexican. This restaurant is one of several pay options on board.

The next day we docked in Nassau, Bahamas. Wow, the changes they have made to the port area are really welcoming and nice. There are lots of vendors selling their wares, and there are several good restaurants, an art gallery, a museum, and a stage where live music could be heard. We spent the morning strolling around and shopping, and then went back to the ship for another buffet lunch and pizza!

We were at sea the next day, and there were many entertainment options available such as dueling pianos, trivia and dance contests around the main pool. That night we ate dinner in the main dining room. The food was always good in the MDR.

The next day we docked in Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. This port is really nice, there is a lazy river, lots of shopping, lots of restaurants and bars, and several large pools. We headed back to ship after spending some time in port to swim in the main pool, and grab some lunch at the buffet.

The next morning we docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I love this port! It is so walkable, and many things to see such as Castillo San Felipe del Morro, Castillo San Cristóbal,  Capilla del Cristo, the statue of La Rogativa, Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery, San Juan Cathedral and La Fortaleza. You can take a taxi to El Yunque, a real rainforest! Not to mention the beautiful beaches, and many fantastic restaurants.

The last two days were sea days and we spent them discovering lots of live singing acts, and trivia on board. The entertainment staff on board were amazing! So friendly and kept everyone engaged.I hope your cruise on MSC was as memorable as ours!
